1,5 billion of new potential Decalogue viewers

China including the territory of Hong Kong and Macau is another new market where “Decalogue” by Krzysztof Kieslowski will be available.

The license was acquired by Edko Films. It means that “Decalogue” will be available in free and pay TV channels, cinemas and in the form of Home Video collections. Kieślowski’s masterpiece will be accompanied in Edko catalogue by such renowned works as “My Night at Maud’s” by Eric Rohmer, “Persepolis” by Vincent Paron and Marjane Satrapi, “Slumdog Millionaire” by Danny Boyle, films by Paolo Sorrentino, Lars von Trier and many others as well as documentaries about renowned filmmakers including Pasolini and Polański. This is how TVP supports international broadcasters and distributors in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Kieślowski’s death. This year Decalogue has become available also in such territories as United Kingdom, Germany, France, Maurice Island, Belgium, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco and French overseas territories
