Storks are believed to bring happiness and prosperity. The series tells the story of a family of storks, from coming back to their nest in the spring, to the difficulties young storks have to cope with. Together with the baby storks, the children learn about the world, its bright and dark sides. Special emphasis is put on the world of birds living free, as the stork family also have contact with birds tamed and domesticated by man.
