"Alisa in Warland" shows the struggles of a 26-year-old film school student from Kiev, depicted from the period of the Euromaidan events to the war in Eastern Ukraine. It is an emotional diary of a young woman lost in an unstable world. A vivid picture of her tragic expericences, feelings and concerns.

The author and the main character of the film is Alisa Kovalenko, who not only appeared in the role of the director, but also, in the course of time, became a participant of the ongoing events. She was captured by the pro-Russian separatists, who suspected her of spying for the Ukrainian army. The document also tells a story of love that was put to a dramatic test, the story of Alisa and her boyfirend, a French journalist .

The biggest Maroccan document festival took place between 2-7 May 2016.
