TVP signs a letter of intent with BBC Worldwide

A letter of intent signed on June 1st between TVP and BBC Worldwide concerns further commercial collaboration between the broadcasters.

Based on that agreement potential areas of co-operation being considered are co-productions of TV series and/or documentaries, with particular focus on such programming which relates to Poland, Polish culture and Polish protagonists. TVP also noted its interest in the possibility of commercially adapting certain programme formats from BBCW’s catalogue.

In the letter both companies look forward to the mutual exchange and purchase programming from TVP and BBCW distribution catalogues for broadcast. 

TVP would also like BBCW to assist them with support and know-how to help TVP organise and develop training programs for its staff regard general areas of TV production, including news. 

TVP has been an important partner for BBC Worldwide in Poland for many years.
