Żanna along with her child has fled from plunged into chaos Belarus and left her husband behind, a well-known oppositionst. Azzam used to work as a translator for the Polish army in Afghanistan and now in his country he is considered to be a traitor. He copes with the post-war trauma. Vera comes to Poland to secretly undergo sex reassignment surgery. A surprise visit from her father and young son will force her to question her identity once again. These three beautifully open, extinguished in half-word and half- action shot stories are connected by the De Gaulle roundabout in Warsaw. The paths of people who have come to Poland to build a new life cross at the junction of Jerozolimskie Avenue and New World street.
