The organizer of Prix Italia is the Italian public broadcaster RAI. Polish Public Television has been a partner of this prestigious festival since 1956. This year, TVP participated at the festival on two levels, namely through submitting a production to the competition, as well as through the participation of experts in the jury and workshops accompanying the festival. All the submitted productions competed in three categories: Radio, Television and Web. Television productions were evaluated in categories of Performing Arts, Drama and Documentary. Karolina Socha-Kalinowska, the representative of the Trade and International Relations Department, was the President of the Performing Arts Jury.

On 29th September, with the participation of speakers from Prix Italia member organizations and in cooperation with Rai Fiction, the TV Series & Web Series workshop was organized. Polish Public Television was represented by Piotr Derewenda from the Film Creation Agency, who shared with the participants his reflections and experience on film, television series and TV theatre shows production.
