Four documentary films produced and co-produced by TVP Polish Public Television were awarded within the New York Festivals - World's Best TV.

A documentary film directed by Monika Meleń - By Stanley for Stanley, won the Silver World Medal in the Social Issues category. The Beksińskis. A Sound and Video Album, directed by Marcin Borchardt, was given the Silver World Medal in the Biography/Profiles category. The documentary film Escapes Through Barbed Wire, directed by Andrzej Celiński, was honoured with the Gold World Medal in the Docudrama category. Honey Hunters, directed by Krystian Matysek, was awarded the Silver Medal in the Nature & Wildlife category.
The Award Gala took place in Las Vegas on 10th April.
