The world premiere of Robert Gliński's latest film will take place on Wednesday, February 19 in Rome in Cinema Farnese. The event will be held under the auspices of the Embassy of Poland to the Holy See and the Polish Institute in Rome.
The film incorporates all crucial events from Poland’s 20th century history. It is a story of an extraordinary person Jan Zieja who was not only a priest but also a social activist, translator, publicist and religious writer. Priest Zieja was a proactive witness of the Polish-Soviet war of 1920, September Campaign, Warsaw Uprising and the beginnings of Workers Defense Committee. He was a military chaplain during the Polish-Russian War and a chaplain of the Gray Ranks and Home Army during WWII. His service and sermons prove that he was a true patriot. He always underlined the fact that murder is never justified.
