Joachim and David are two men at completely different stages of life. One is a mature man who no longer has to prove anything to anyone. The other is a mathematical genius who abandoned a promising business career abroad and is now looking for the right field to use his talents in Poland. What can they learn from each other? How to choose between intellect, faith, and love? The Perfect Number is a film about mathematics and God. It is a story of a man renouncing wealth in favour of a passion that turns out to be worth even more. It is also about emptiness in life and fullness of life, about selfishness and the joy of sharing with others.
