The Petroks are a loving multi-generational family. They live in Silesia, lead a quiet life and enjoy their time together. Alas, their fairytale is suddenly over. Gerard begins to behave strangely, has problems with memory, starts acting weird and out of the ordinary. It turns out that these are the first symptoms of Alzheimer's. The disease progresses rapidly and he becomes unpredictable and barely resembles the man he was before. His family does everything to help him, but in time they too begin to “get sick”. Their relations are put to the test. Tension, secrets and resentment, hidden for so long, are finally out in the open. Adam faces a dilemma – should he stay with his sick father or take care of his wife and daughter? What choice will he make? How much will Alzheimer's change the Paterok family's life? Will it tear them apart?
