The series is based on a novel by Roman Bratny. The story revolves around Polish resistance groups against the Nazi occupation. The people presented in the series are the generation of war. The viewer has a chance to watch their daily lives along with their struggles and fight for better tomorrow. The main characters are young men, who often have to make difficult and even tragic decisions at the time of war.
