In a decaying monastery, deep in the countryside, four monks live a quiet and sleepy lives together with a vagabond called Frank and a nun, who keeps an eye on them. To their surprise, a hovel on a neighboring hill is renovated and is turned into a Buddhist relaxation and meditation centre. The man who owns the centre is a former businessman who, having reassessed his life, decided to settle here with his two adolescent daughters. Apart from course participants, a Buddhist master, Tashi G, and his follower - Teresa arrive at the centre. All of this is a terrible shock to the monks, who so far have been leading quiet and peaceful lives. Heretical practices right behind their wall? Unacceptable! Although the beginnings resemble a guerilla war between two hostile armies, surprisingly to both parties, their worlds start to intermingle.
