18-year-old Blanka lives in a small town Kalinowo. She has just graduated from high school and is getting ready for the upcoming university entrance exams. The girl has a loving family, her mother is a kindergarten teacher and her father, who by the way is totally in love with his only child, is the owner of a garage. Soon after Blanka’s 18th birthday the girl learns that the people raising her are not her biological parents. Her mother reveals that Blanka’s biological mother abandoned her just after giving birth. The girl is devastated and wants nothing more than to find out something about her real family. She leaves home, giving up her dreams of studying architecture and goes to Lublin, where she is hoping to find clues that will help her put the pieces of the family puzzle together.
