The series presents lives of people in a big city. Each episode focuses on one Friday from the lives of the main characters, whose paths cross in a shopping centre. This assumption resembles popular reality shows where we watch a one hour-sum-up of the contestants‘ day in the reality show. Friday is the beginning of a weekend, when many different things can happen. The whole story starts on 1st September, Bart is about to go to high school, angry with his father who abandoned the family, the boy turns to weapons and has his first encounter with the police. Kate is a police officer herself, the woman works in a youth crime department, where she learns about the real problems young people face. Martin, owner of a boutique shop, loses his mother and on top of that, the answering machine at his home records a message from a strange girl who claims to be pregnant with him. Camille, receives her first ring from a guy she has been dating, yet no declarations follow and the woman is not sure where she is standing. Grace, a forty-five-year-old woman has her divorce case on that faithful day, and to add insult to injury, the woman bumps into an unrequited first love from high school.
