The main characters of the series are a group of friends in their thirties. They all live in Warsaw, however, they met while working abroad during student holidays. They call themselves "the crew" – it is all because of a pickup truck that they painted into crazy colours so that it looks like a spacecraft. Nowadays, they have good jobs, their own families, nevertheless, they are still bound by their friendship, businesses as well as ups and downs of life. The crazy spacecraft pickup truck is now part of the decoration in their business "A Good Place Bookstore." It is a place where they all come back when they need guidance, helo or just a quiet place to wait out life storms.
