A docu-crime series about everyday duties of policemen. Troublemakers, pickpockets, criminals, thieves, dossers – they all call them pigs and such ‘pigs’ are the heroes of the series. The producers follow selected policemen from homicide, preventive, intelligence and anti-terror units, take part in their work, witness interrogations of criminals, testimonies of victims and talks with informers. Many scenes are taken from a hidden camera and through two-ways mirrors, but also quite often they show how the observed ones react to the police or to a camera lens. The series also shows the real private life of the policemen and their reflections on themselves, their life and their work. It is the proof that what happens in police departments has almost nothing to do with what can be seen in crime series or movies.
