Unable to come to terms with the tragic death of his father, Rafał decides to meet his killer, hoping it will bring him some solace. The killer is 21-year-old Daniel, who has just been released from a juvenile detention center. Struggling to rebuild his life on the outside, Daniel teeters on the edge of homelessness, crime, and even suicide. Although Rafał tries to maintain his distance, he finds it difficult to remain indifferent to Daniel's plight. He begins to help him and inadvertently forms a relationship he had desperately wanted to avoid.
