The discovery of the first extra-solar planets and pulsar planets was a milestone of space research. This documentary shows Polish astronomer who is the co-discoverer of those planets. In the movie the director attempts to present the scientist as a polymath, science fiction enthusiast, painting and poetry expert. In front of the camera Wolszczan talks about his childhood, first telescope build from two lenses and a piece of wood, his way to career and fame. The main character reveals his thoughts on the universe, the past and the future of the space. He also mentions such controversial topics as extraterrestrial forms of life. He goes on to talk about the unavoidable end of the Earth and the Solar system. One day the hydrogen fuel of our star will burn out, the star will grow and become the red giant and will engulf the Earth.
