Senator Robert Kennedy paid an official visit to the capital of Poland, Warsaw, just a few months after the death of his brother. He was welcomed by millions of people expressing their warm feelings. They wanted to get in touch with a symbolic figure of the capitalist world which was than the other world hidden behind the iron curtain. All those people were closely observed by the Secret Police and Special Forces of the former communist regime in Poland. The film is composed of materials shot by the Secret Police and among thousands of enthusiastic people and hundreds of agents. It features Robert Kennedy's reactions and actions that often astonished the crowds.
