Krakow Film Festival is one of Europe's oldest event devoted to documentaries, animations and short films. This year's 57th edition of the festival took place between 28th May and 4th June 2017.

The Golden Hobby-horse in Polish Competition went to the film ‘The Ugliest Car In The World’ by Grzegorz Szczepaniak.“The Beksinskis. A Sound and Picture Album” by Marcin Borchardt received the official recommendation.“By Stanley for Stanley” directed by Monika Maleń was given the National Broadcasting Council Award named after Maciej Szumowski for the particular sensitivity to social issues.
