A brilliant contemporary TV drama about some obscure facts from the life of one of the greatest Polish politicians, Marshal Józef Piłsudski. The story centres on some lesser-known moments in the history of 20th-century Europe, which is Piłsudski's planned armed intervention in Germany, around 1933. This intervention was related to the internal situation of Germany and the growing aggression of the Nazi regime. It is also a personal story of the last years of the life of Marshal Piłsudski. Aging, sick and tired, he considers starting a blitzkrieg against the Germans. The decision is risky and can be tragic in consequences. The Marshal has much to lose, above all his place in history.
