The film is an attempt to unravel the phenomenon of famous traveller Tony Halik, a journalist, and a filmmaker. He built his image thanks to his natural personal appeal, imagination, and passion. Nowadays it is extremely hard to say what really happened in the hero’s life and what is just the aftermath of his imagination, sense of humour and the knack for storytelling. This film is a story about the cultivation of Halik’s legend by others and a great mystery hidden under a fabricated identity.
