It is a documentary film about doctor Paweł Grabowski and his patients from a little village in Podlasie, North-East Poland. Doctor Paweł quit his job at the Warsaw Cancer Center, where he made a career as a maxillofacial surgeon. At that point in his life, he nearly died, his heart stopped for 45 seconds and he had to be resuscitated. After that traumatic experience, he took a life-changing decision and left for Podlasie, where he established the first rural oncology hospice.
