Valentyn, Heorhiy, Nadiia and Oleksandr have been selling books at the Pochaina flea market in Kyiv, Ukraine, for two decades. After losing their jobs in the volatile 1990s, second-hand books became their salvation and a new career. At the flea market, each of them has a different specialization: Valentyn, a computer science teacher, specializes in mathematics and physics; Heorhiy, a lecturer at a linguistic university, in philosophy, history and world literature; and Oleksandr, a military engineer, in technical books and shipbuilding industry. Nadia has collections of books on photography, fashion, and design. As the war breaks out, the booksellers unite to save their workplaces, which are of value to the entire Ukrainian culture. Will the books survive the war?
